"Nothing is as Permanent as a Temporary Subsidy"

Walter Williams, interviewed by John Stossel regarding farm subsidies to rich farmers tells Stossel that "nothing is as permanent as a temporary subsidy". Well, the farm bill was passed again this year and Mr. Stossel documents for us how it's the big fat farmers that get these subsidies and also some home dwellers that don't even know why they are getting money from the government! But the poorer farmers are not seeing a cent from these subsidies, yet we, the taxpayer are sending money to millionaire farmers. This program started during the depression and was never killed. Watch closely the interview with Jackson - these politicians have no shame and she even has a smirk on her face. Why do we put up with this transfer of wealth to the wealthy? (WATCH VIDEO)
