One area with a little less government: how can that not be a good thing? The government is too involved in science. I would love to see them pull out of research across all sorts of areas in science, and also to pull out of funding education from university downward.
Perhaps more investment in exploration by private individuals and industries is better than taxpayer-funded exploration.
